DIY Chocolate Truffles

DIY Chocolate Truffles that bring everyone together around the dining table; such a fun and sociable end to a meal plus they are really delicious too. We’ve been making these ‘DIY Chocolate Truffles’ for years because they are so blooming tasty and we love the fact there are so many variations you can create. Without doubt they are a firm favourite at dinner parties and are perfect as a very special weekend treat for the family..…make sure there is a booze free bowl if the little ones are joining you! ‘DIY Chocolate Truffles’ make for a really enjoyable experience; chatting over coffee (or a tipple) and tucking into a delicious, decadent treat that you can create yourself, just as you like it! The fact everyone can get involved to create their own truffles means you don’t have to sit preparing perfect little truffles for each of your friends to enjoy; resulting in more time to get things in order before your guests arrive.

The beauty of this recipe is that you can divide the mixture into separate little bowls and add different flavours to suit all tastes. I LOVE a brandy truffle so the recipe below includes brandy but feel free to try other flavours too. Arrange plenty of different toppings around the table, add a few cocktail sticks and get stuck in….simple as that.

Try our incredibly moorish ‘DIY Chocolate Truffles’ for yourself. Go on, you know you want to! They’re really easy and so so good.
