Gorenje DVG 6545 AX Chimney Cooker Hood | Review

The Gorenje DVG 6545 AX Chimney Cooker Hood offers functionality and a show stopping design that is sure to stand out in any kitchen. This beautiful chimney hood uses a combination of Stainless Steel and Black Glass and it’s because of this marriage the cooker hood will make a style impact. Gorenje have used a straight Stainless Steel flue and a slanted Black Glass panel with Stainless Steel strips at either side. As the black glass is at an angle you are able to cook on the hob without being impeded by the glass panel. When not in use the Black Glass panel turns the hood into a real talking point of the kitchen. The addition of two halogen lights at the base of the cooker hood will help to illuminate the cooking area giving you functionality as well as great design.

At just 60cm wide the Gorenje DVG 6545 AX Chimney Cooker Hood is to be used in conjunction with a 60cm hob and comes fitted with all of the technology you will need in order to effectively remove cooking smells. The Gorenje hood offers a fantastic flexibility because it can be used for either vented, using a 150mm ducting kit, or re-circulated with charcoal filters. Whichever method you choose you’ll enjoy the high quality of Gorenje’s  technology that manages to produce an extraction rate of 805m3/h when ducted and 646 m3/h when re-circulated. Gorenje include an aluminium grease filter to capture fat particles and can be easily cleaned in a dishwasher. The motor on the cooker hood produces a maximum noise level of 58bd when running on the highest of the three extraction speeds available so is quieter than other models on the market. This wall mounted cooker hood would look at home in a modern kitchen with similar black kitchen appliances.
